Stunning

This was a real gem of a find. Knew nothing about it except it was a good half way stop on our travels. In future this will be a destination. It really was awesome. Almost new facilities, pristine pr3sentation of the grounds and hotel. Loads of facilities and great staff

A good experience but could be better

First of all, we booked via Booking.com and for some reason paid 230€ for the hotel room for one night. We expected a bit more facilities at the location as we thought we didn’t get enough for our money. When we took the road to the hotel (no sign was present and we thought we went the wrong way as the road to the hotel was quite rough and in very bad condition, which is not suited for every car!). The reception was 15/10! The room was clean and nice (10/10). Then there was the bar which was okay but some things were a bit expensive (Ricard 10€, Planche 29€). The Takeaway can only be ordered before 15 o’clock, but check in is only at 15 o’clock. The shop offered some microwavable meals which looked nice, but the room din’t have a microwave (this would be a nice addition to the room and therefore a good alternative to the takeaway or even room service). The night was very nice due to the AC and the nice beds. As for breakfast, there weren’t many fresh options (only a small bowl of fruits but no vegeatble as for example cucumber was to be found). There were partly lactose free options, and no gluten free options at all. When we arrived at our table, there were still bread crumbs everywhere eventhough the table was freshly set. All in all, the experience was a 7/10 as for the price paid, we expected a bit more.

The lodge was up to our expectations and somewhat even exceeded it. We liked the privacy of the accommodations. Being close to nature and relaxing. Facilities were really good. The infrared sauna was a real surprise. Service of the staff was really awesome. Atmosphere all around the resort was really calm and relaxed. Plenty of nature walks to take through the forest. We really enjoyed our time here.
Some minor concerns.
The microwave was too high that you need to get on the chair to put your food in. Me being 185cm tall did not help either.
There were no sponges or cleaning liquid to clean the kitchen utensils. There were no dishwasher tablets as well. I dont suppose the guest need to bring those with them. At least that is not what I used to do.
Not enough toilet paper. Just 2 rolls for 3 people for 1 nights stay.
Water doesnt seem to be clean enough to drink. There were much whitish compounds in water. Which may be alright but we did not like it and used our own water for drinking.

But these did not stop us from having a good time here. But a little more thought on these would have earned you the full rating points.

Heerlijke vakantie gehad

Prachtige omgeving ideaal om te wandelen, en veel mogelijkheden voor uitstapjes die niet ver van de accomodatie liggen. Het park was zeer rustig. Parke is ook hond vriendelijk wat mij zeer aanspreekt omdat ik 2 honden heb die altijd mee op vakantie gaan

Prima verblijf

We waren hier o.a. om te mountainbiken, daar is dit een mooie omgeving voor. Helaas is op het park niet veel te doen (er is bijvoorbeeld geen zwembad, of wellness en de huisjes hebben geen jaccuzi of hottub).

Prettige omgeving in een mooie lodge

We zaten in lodge 63. Mooi opgezette lodge met mooi interieur. Er zit een hek om het ruime terras, handig dan loopt de hond niet weg. Goedzittend tuinmeubilair met parasol en grote stevige tafel. Heerlijk buiten kunnen genieten. Goede douche en fijne airco in het huisje. Wel een stukje omhoog vanaf de parkeerplaats naar de lodge. Voor mensen slecht ter been niet te doen. In de keuken ook alles aanwezig.

Zakelijke overnachting

Ik vond het een aangenaam verblijf in een omgeving waar ik niet eerder was geweest. Het was op basis van een zakelijk bezoek aan een leverancier, waar ik samen met 5 collegas een verkooptraining kreeg. Ik moet zeggen dat het vriendelijke personeel, en het comfort van de kamer mij heel enthousiast hebben gemaakt.

zeer mooie lodge, mooi terras meubilair. (wij zouden graag willen weten waar we de schommelstoel eventueel kunnen kopen)

Prima “short stay” gehad in natuurlijke rustige omgeving !

Fijn dat de huisjes vrijstaand zijn en je echt de ervaring hebt midden in de natuur te zitten..park is ruim van opzet en rustig .Ruime terrassen bij de woning en bij ons was deze omheind wat i.v.m. de hond erg prettig was. Parkeren op centrale parkeer plekken en 1 richting rijroute ook prettig . Avond/nacht overal kleine lampjes maar genoeg verlichting om bijv rondje te lopen .

Prachtig hotel

Mooi hotel in mooie omgeving en prachtig uitzicht. Tevens mooie sfeervolle hotelkamer.
